FML (Forests May Lie) is a survey of multidisciplinary work by Reitzenstein, the artist formerly known as Reinhard Reitzenstein.
The anchor of FML is a thirty-foot felted maple tree that emerged as part of his collaborative and interactive year-long residency at the Art Gallery of Hamilton. This work is surrounded by a series of tree drawings, bronze sculpture, and panoptic photographs that support the artist’s long-standing investigation of the environment and environmental degradation.
